Products Description of Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin CAS#11006-34-1
Sodium copper chlorophyllin is prepared from natural green plant materials such as silkworm excrement, clover, alfalfa, bamboo and other leafy plants. The raw materials are extracted using organic solvents including acetone, methanol, ethanol and petroleum ether. During the production process, the central magnesium ion in chlorophyll is replaced by a copper ion, followed by alkaline saponification to remove methyl and phytol groups, which are converted into carboxyl groups to form a disodium salt. Therefore, sodium copper chlorophyllin is classified as a semisynthetic pigment. Other pigments with similar structures and production processes include sodium iron chlorophyllin and sodium zinc chlorophyllin.

Product Application of Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin CAS#11006-34-1
Liver protectionSodium copper chlorophyllin has strong antioxidant properties, which help protect liver cells from free radicals and oxidative stress, thus reducing the burden on the liver. It can also activate the reticuloendothelial cells in the liver, promote the recovery of liver function, and enhance the resistance of liver cells.
Prevention of leukopenia and anemiaLeukopenia has complex causes and often requires targeted treatment. However, sodium copper chlorophyllin shows broadspectrum efficacy in improving such conditions. According to existing clinical data, its effective rate reaches 80% or higher.
Support for ulcer and wound healingThis compound is rapidly absorbed in the human body and helps accelerate cellular metabolism, providing significant benefits for tissue repair and recovery.
Antimutagenic effectSodium copper chlorophyllin can inhibit the activity of various mutagens such as benzopyrene. It also enhances cell viability, strengthens the phagocytic function of macrophages, and improves the body’s ability to resist mutagenic damage.
