Product Description of Lanthanum Nitrate Hexahydrate CAS#10277-43-7
Lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate is a colorless crystalline material with a typical nitrate odor. It is stable under normal room temperature conditions but decomposes when heated, emitting toxic nitrogen oxide gases. It is highly soluble in water and hygroscopic, absorbing moisture from the air.

Product Application of Lanthanum Nitrate Hexahydrate CAS#10277-43-7
Lanthanum nitrate is widely used in the production of optical glass, gas lamp mantles and phosphors, and also functions as a preservative. It serves as an additive for ceramic capacitors and a catalyst in petroleum refining.
In addition, it is applied in the manufacture of lanthanum‑tungsten and lanthanum‑molybdenum cathode materials, three‑way catalysts, petrochemical processing, gas lamp additives, hard alloys and the refractory metals industry.
