Zinc Phosphate (CAS#7779-90-0) is an inorganic compound appearing as a white, odorless powder. It is a zinc salt derived from phosphoric acid, characterized by stable properties and very low solubility in water, with the molecular formula Zn₃(PO₄)₂ and a molecular weight of 422.12 g/mol. Widely used as an anti-corrosive agent, especially in primer coatings, it provides effective cathodic protection. It is also applied in dental cement and conversion coating treatments for metals including steel, aluminum and other alloys.
